| When you join
JJTA, you are actually joining the National Partnership for
Juvenile Services (NPJS). When you join NPJS you are joining
an organization of over 850 people involved in all aspects
of the juvenile justice system. When you become a member of
NPJS you will have the opportunity to designate your critical
job function. By checking the Trainer function you will be
able to vote for the JJTA Officers and Board of Directors
and help to shape our policies on juvenile justice training.
You will also receive information on training and staff development
resources.

categories and the benefits of each.
JJTA meets twice
a year at a spring and fall conference. Both during and between
conferences, members tap one another’s expertise, exchange
program designs and ideas, and share thoughts on issues in
the field. Members have been invited to serve as consultants
and presenters in juvenile justice programs around the country.
Due to successful efforts to make the Association known to
others in juvenile justice, JJTA is regularly contacted to
provide advisors, consultants, presenters and input on issues
and projects of national interest. We maintain a consultant
pool so that we can refer people with the appropriate expertise.

Pool.
